I was having a cup of coffee on the deck outside the door in my backyard when a flock of crows landed in a tree in the far corner of the yard and started making a lot of noise. I asked my companion to chase them away and he took the broom from behind my chair, walked to the tree and waved it in the air in an attempt to make them fly away. Suddenly, the two largest crows made high speed Kamikaze dives directly at my head. I ducked and they crashed with a thud into the wall behind me.
Why did they attack me and not the person waving the broom?
